Katy and Rob have chosen one of my favourite venues in the Lake Districkt. Broadoaks Country House is extremely popular with couples and it is not hard to see why. It is located up on the hill, just few minutes drive from Windemere. With its welcoming and cosy atmosphere, the venue is surrounded by stunning countryside views making it the perfect location for their wedding. The house itself is full of character and luxury. There is also possibility of outdoor wedding ceremonies. I was very honoured to be Broadoaks Country House Wedding Photographer.

Katy and Rob planned their wedding day for a long time however they were both very nervous about it. Neither of them enjoy being centre of attention or like having their photo taken, with this in mind I reassured them I wouldn’t make them feel uncomfortable and let my documentary, unobstrucktive style take control of the day capturing candid moments throughout. They simply wanted have amazing time with their family and friends!

March weather can be unpredictable, but we had very little rain on the day. It did not bother Katy and Rob as they didn’t want any posed photos outside anyway. Day full of emotions

From second I walked through the door for bridal preparation, I felt high emotions in the air! There was so many moments I had to hide my tears behind the camera. I must say I have never seen before so many happy tears on the wedding day! But lets not forget laughter during speeches…. oh yes there were some very funny stories!
