Feel awkward in front of the camera? We’ll help you relax, be yourselves, and forget about posing. Camera shy? Brilliant. It means you can get on with your wedding while we get on with photographing it. We blend in with your guests, usually somewhere in the mix, watching what’s happening and trying not to get in anyone’s way. We’ll be there when something happens, rather than asking you to make something happen for the camera. Unscripted, chaotic, full of personality moments captured in a way that brings those memories to life.

From Yorkshire to the Cotswolds, from weddings in the Lake District to the Scottish Highlands, we’ll travel wherever your story takes us. Whether you’re planning a huge family celebration and a full weekend of partying, travelling abroad, or sneaking off just the two of you with your kids or the dogs, we photograph real people, in real love, at real weddings.

Moments. Memories. A Legacy.

In our lives, we’ve been reminded of how precious photographs are. We have our own treasured memories of people who are no longer with us, of parties with friends and family who now live on the other side of the world. Photographs and memories are all we have left. So those photographs should capture real, unfiltered, authentic emotions, images of people being themselves, photos that let you feel what it was like to spend time with them.

We freeze moments of genuine emotion, fun, and connection between people. We’re looking for the things you won’t see yourself. The people you love, the way they are with each other, the little bits of nonsense happening around you. Our aim is not just to show how a wedding looked but to capture the genuine feelings of being there. To do that, we get amongst it, make everyone feel at ease, and join the party. If you can forget we’re even there, perfect! Focus on celebrating with your favourite people.

The love, the fun, the real stuff that happens at the weddings, that’s what being documentary wedding photographers is all about. Kisses, belly laughs, and happy tears! When you look through your photos, you’ll feel everything again, not because you posed for it but because you lived it.

You can’t see everything on your wedding day. Nobody can. You’re busy getting married.
