As award-winning documentary wedding photographers, we get to travel around the whole of the UK (and abroad), capturing weddings of all styles and sizes. From the beautiful Lake District and remote weddings at Crear in Scotland to the glorious countryside of the Cotswolds, as well as working as Buckinghamshire wedding photographers capturing all the emotion of relaxed family celebrations. We really do love our jobs!

Buckinghamshire wedding photography – Lisa and Daniel

As with all of our couples, we spent lots of time getting to know Lisa and Daniel before their wedding day, it’s a really important part of the process for us and is a big part of the way we work. We’ll put you at ease so you feel as relaxed as possible, and we’ll gain an understanding of the people and things that make your relationship and your family unique. All this allows us to capture the most important moments and aspects of your wedding day, and we’ll have a good laugh along the way!

“OMG our pics are amazing. We’re in love with the photos and how you captured some amazing moments thank you both so, so much!”

 Weddings in Buckinghamshire

Janina spent the morning getting ready with the girls at The Langley Hotel, Iver. Part of the Marriott Group’s Luxury Collection, it provided some stunning light and décor for bridal portraits. The sweeping staircase was also really eye-catching, what a way to make an entrance!

The girls were joined by superstar hair and makeup artist, Tamara, the Wedding Day MUA (she’s pretty famous around here!) who was busy perfecting the finishing touches for the grown-ups, whilst making sure the little ones also felt included and suitably glam.

Bouquets had arrived from The Flower Boutique, and as everyone got ready the pale pink and white flowers with muted green foliage gave a little hint of the rustic but elegant theme for the day ahead. Lisa’s Martina Liana wedding dress brought a few tears to the eyes of her waiting Dads, who both had an equal role to play in her big day.

Meanwhile, Jawad was with Daniel and his groomsmen, who were getting ready at The Bull Hotel in Gerrard’s Cross. After starting with breakfast and a visit to the local barbers, they got into their suits and added their buttonholes outside in the sunshine. Then they headed to the reception venue, The Red Lion in Coleshill, directly opposite the church, which was handy for a pre-ceremony pint!

The church was full of smiling faces as Lisa arrived, and was walked down the aisle by both of her Dads to marry Daniel. This was an emotional and moving part of the day, as Lisa wanted both father figures to be involved in this important moment together. Their church ceremony featured plenty more smiles, laughter and a few happy tears, and Lisa’s epic ‘WE DID IT!’ celebration is one of our favourite photos from the day!

After being showered with confetti, the newlyweds went for a short drive together while their guests walked across the road to enjoy canapes and drinks in the garden of The Red Lion

We organised a few important group photos in the sunshine before Lisa put on her Just Married trainers and went for a walk in the gardens with her new husband. They are such a fun couple, and it was lovely to capture them laughing together before heading to the domed marquee to be announced as Mr and Mrs.

A delicious wedding breakfast followed, with speeches after the main course and some funny stories, touching memories, and more than a few rounds of applause!

 Let’s dance

Lisa and Daniel kicked off the evening celebrations with their first dance to Florence and The Machine’s ‘You got the Love’, and their guests piled onto the dancefloor to join them and get the party started! Their brilliant band, The Sisterhood, kept the dancing going all night and the shots, air guitars, and dancefloor hugs were loads of fun to be amongst as we joined in and photographed the fun.

We LOVED capturing Lisa and Daniel’s Buckinghamshire wedding photography, not just because of the gorgeous venues, but the party spirit that came with gathering the whole family together to celebrate.
