The sweeping staircase to the front door adds a sense of drama to this iconic building, perfect for capturing your guests arriving in style, or for your unposed portraits as newlyweds. Gayatri and Aravith – Carlton Towers wedding photography

Gayatri and Aravith booked us as their Carlton Towers wedding photographers to join them for their two-day fusion wedding celebrations. The first day was a Catholic ceremony, and then on the second day, their wedding at Carlton Towers blended elements of Assamese and Tai Ahom wedding customs with Tamil traditions.

They were keen to have us working as a duo to ensure all of the important moments were documented, whilst allowing them to relax and enjoy their day surrounded by their family and friends. While Janina captured Gayatri getting ready, Jawad was with Aravith preparing for the day of celebrations and getting into his outfit made by Silkalay.

Gayatri’s hair and make-up was perfected by Dimple Sharma from Glam by Dimple, and her wedding dress was created by Bidyut Rakesh. Their wedding at Carlton Towers would take place in the elaborately decorated Venetian Room, under an incredible Mandap from Midland Mandaps

As traditions got underway and the ceremony began, Katie Bowden Art was working to capture the day in a painting, it was fascinating to see her work. The room was overflowing with floral arrangements from Blooming Fantastic, and the décor extended into the Picture Gallery which would also be where they would have their wedding breakfast. Carlton Towers wedding photography gives us so many opportunities to photograph your day in amazing spaces, the décor and details of every room are so impressive!

For their reception, Gayatri and Aravith changed into amazingly detailed red and gold outfits, Gayatri’s was from Monga’s and Aravith’s from Manyavar. After their wedding breakfast and some wonderful speeches, we took them away briefly for an opportunity to capture some Carlton Towers wedding photography in the grounds and gardens. We made the most of the golden hour as they wandered through the vineyard and walled gardens.

When they returned, they cut their cake, which had been made by Aravith’s talented sister, Roshini Bakes, before their first dance got the party started. They’d booked Bandeoke entertainment for the evening, with The Gifted and The Talent band from Talent events. This was a real hit with their guests and everyone enjoyed singing and dancing the night away in style!
